Djibouti: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taher Al-Baour, met with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, to discuss the growing partnership between Turkey and Africa. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress made and emphasized the importance of supporting the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) through the “Libyan-Libyan” dialogue initiative.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the African-Turkish Conference in Djibouti. Al-Baour and Fidan highlighted the urgent need to unify efforts in addressing the genocide faced by the Palestinian people. They also underscored the critical importance of supporting the Sudanese people amid worsening humanitarian conditions in the country.
The discussions concluded with both parties expressing a desire for ongoing consultation and enhanced cooperation on various regional and international issues. This, they believe, will serve the interests of both Turkey and the African nations involved, rein
forcing their commitment to a collaborative future.
