Benghazi: Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, met today with representatives of several struggling and withdrawing companies to discuss the challenges and obstacles faced by their employees.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was held at the House of Representatives headquarters in Benghazi. Speaker Saleh stressed the importance of implementing Libyan Government Resolution No. (197) of 2025. This resolution involves taking necessary administrative and legal actions to reassign Libyan employees from affected foreign and dissolved national companies to roles within the state's administrative framework.
The meeting was attended by Members of the House of Representatives, Aisha Al-Tablaqi, Aisha Shalabi, and Intisar Shnaib, along with representatives from the impacted companies.
