African Heads of State Summit on Energy Begins in Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam: The African Heads of State Summit on Energy commenced in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, today, featuring the participation of Presidential Council Chairman Mohamed Al-Mnifi.

According to Libyan News Agency, the summit is organized under the theme “Lighting Africa: The Transformative Power of Mission 300.” This initiative is a collaborative effort by the African Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group, in association with the African Union.

The summit’s primary objective is to advance the Mission 300 initiative. The initiative aims to supply energy to 300 million people in Africa by the year 2030, addressing the current energy crisis impacting approximately 600 million Africans.
