Activists demonstrate in Babylon against amendments to the Personal Status Law

A number of members of civil society organizations and activists demonstrated in front of the Babylon Governorate building against amendments to the Iraqi Personal Status Law. A correspondent for /NINA/ said, "The demonstrators carried banners denouncing these amendments, which they considered offensive to the dignity of Iraqi women and aimed at dividing Iraqi society.
