Washington: The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Rajab Abdul-Sadig, met with a delegation from ExxonMobil during the 2025 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the event in Washington.
According to Libyan News Agency, the ministry announced via its official Facebook page that the delegation included Rushdi Younsi, Vice President for International Government Relations for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean, and Chris Taggart, Co-Head of International Crude Oil Trading. The Minister’s Advisor, Jamal Huwaisa, was also present at the meeting.
The ministry further explained that discussions centered around investment opportunities in exploration and production. These discussions aim to enhance cooperation between Libya and ExxonMobil, supporting efforts to develop the Libyan oil and gas sector.
