A researcher from the University of Karbala obtains a patent for being able to manufacture a new pharmaceutical compound

A lecturer from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, at the University of Karbala, Dr. Ammar Abdul Hussein Al-Qarawi, obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control for manufacturing a new pharmaceutical compound.

The new pharmaceutical compound has an antibacterial activity that is several times greater than the effectiveness of the original drug.

The new pharmaceutical compound is used to treat infections, especially those that accompany cancerous diseases.
