Rome, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Friday that a phone call was conducted between Italian Foreign Minister “Luigi Di Maio” and his Libyan counterpart Najla Al-Manqoush.

The Italian news agency (AKI) quoted the Italian Foreign Ministry as saying that the phone call touched on bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and the follow-up of the outcomes of the Stabilization Conference in Libya, which was held on October 21.

The Italian Foreign Ministry stressed that the Libyans’ ownership of their country’s issues is essential to success of the transition process towards democracy.
