(6+6) Joint Committee Reaffirms Commitment to Libyan-Libyan Dialogue Process

Tripoli: The (6+6) Joint Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS) has reaffirmed its commitment to the Libyan-Libyan dialogue process, viewing it as the most viable path toward achieving national consensus, which is crucial for conducting free and fair elections and concluding the transitional phases in Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, this reaffirmation was made during a recent consultative meeting held by the committee, which focused on ongoing discussions concerning election laws. The committee emphasized that the Libyan-Libyan dialogue process is the optimal route to attain national consensus, paving the way for elections, transitioning Libya out of its current phase, enhancing stability, fostering the development of state institutions, and promoting sustainable development.
