Director of Zahrani Oil Facilities, Ziad al-Zein, revealed in a statement on Sunday that "pumping began at 3:00 a.m. to deliver 5 million liters of fuel oil from the facilities to the Zahrani Electricity Plant on loan, via the transmission line that connects them and after completing all administrative, technical and legal steps." He added, "It is expected that after the meeting of the Board of Directors of Electricité du Liban today, a decision and statement will be issued regarding the date of restarting the plant, which will initially only supply vital facilities.
