Al-Jameel: An expanded security meeting was held today in Al-Jameel to enhance security coordination and raise the level of readiness for the implementation of the joint security plan.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was chaired by the Security Director, Major General Ezz-Edeen Al-Zouq, and included the participation of the Head of the Deployments and Patrols Office in the Western Plain of the Security Threats Countermeasures Department, as well as heads of police stations, offices, departments, and units affiliated with the directorate. The discussions focused on ways to enhance security performance across various formations.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Zouq highlighted the importance of discipline and the commitment to a team spirit in executing field missions. He noted that such practices contribute to enhancing stability and imposing the state’s prestige. Additionally, he stressed the necessity of treating citizens with respect and responsibility to reflect a positive image of security personnel and to build trust between the security establishment and the community.
The Western Plains Security Directorate outlined that this meeting is part of the directorate’s ongoing efforts, under the direct supervision of the Security Director, to implement a comprehensive security plan. This plan aims to maintain public order, combat negative phenomena, and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
