Western Coast Military Region Cracks Down on Illegal Fuel Sales in Ajelat

Ajelat: The Western Coast Military Region has announced the successful seizure of sites involved in the illegal sale of fuel during a security operation conducted in the city of Ajelat, located west of Tripoli.

According to Libyan News Agency, this operation was executed in collaboration with the Western Military Police and led to the confiscation of thousands of liters of fuel. The fuel was reportedly being smuggled for sale in neighboring countries, benefiting the smugglers at the expense of local citizens.

The Military Region has assured the public that it is working closely with the Attorney General’s Office and other relevant authorities to ensure that fuel is available at official stations. These stations will operate 24 hours a day, providing fuel at official prices and preventing exploitation by smugglers and those creating crises.
