Tripoli: The United States welcomed Chevron's return to Libya and the resumption of its cooperation with the National Oil Corporation.
According to Libyan News Agency, the US Embassy in Libya confirmed on its official website that this partnership will contribute to increased production, modernization of infrastructure, job creation, and opening the door to further US investment in various sectors of the Libyan economy.
The embassy stated that a unified and stable Libya is capable of unleashing its enormous potential, attracting sustainable investments, and ensuring that all Libyans, from east to west and north to south, benefit from their country's resources, while creating new opportunities for both the Libyan and American people.
