Tripoli: The US Embassy in Libya announced on Wednesday a temporary suspension of updates to its official account due to a disruption in funding.
According to Libyan News Agency, the embassy explained, in a post on its Facebook page, that the account will not be updated regularly until full operations are resumed, noting that the only exception will be for urgent information related to safety and security.
The embassy confirmed that scheduled passport and visa services will continue in the United States and at US embassies and consulates abroad during the disruption, as the situation allows.
