US Chargé d’Affaires to Libya meets with Mayor of Benghazi in Tunis

Tripoli: The US Chargé d'Affaires to Libya, "Jeremy Berndt", met at his residence in the capital, Tunis, yesterday, Wednesday, with the Mayor of Benghazi, "Saqr Bujwari". "Berndt" expressed in a tweet published by the US Embassy in Libya via its account on X today, Thursday, his thanks to Mayor "Bujwari" for the warm welcome and hospitality he received during his recent visit to the city of Benghazi. He said ((I saw firsthand important efforts to revive cultural and economic activities and rebuild after years of conflict)) according to the text of the tweet. The US diplomat stressed during the meeting the commitment of his country's embassy in Tripoli to continue strengthening popular relations between the two countries in all regions of Libya.
