US amb. witnesses inauguration of Heinz expansions in Egypt at dlrs 50 m

US Ambassador in Cairo Herro Mustafa Garg, alongside Ministers Kamel Wazir of Transport and Industry, Hassan Khatib of Investment and Sherif Farouk of Supply, witnessed on Saturday 28/9/2024 the inauguration of recent expansions of the Cairo Food Industrial Heinz Egypt at dlrs 50 million investments. During the inauguration ceremony, she said Egypt is the only country in the Middle East where Heinz company exists and expands, referring to the expansions at dlrs 50 million investments that will help boost production by 60%. She highlighted the key role of the two governments in facilitation, regulation and focusing on solutions. She noted that there are 550 employees in the company, saying that thousands of farmers in Egypt contribute to 90% of Heinz local products. Source: State Information Service Egypt
