Tripoli: The United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced that discussions are progressing on the security and economic aspects of the Structured Dialogue, which forms part of a Libyan-led political process. According to Libyan News Agency, the mission highlighted that these discussions are focused on proposing practical solutions to both short- and long-term challenges that are currently obstructing the electoral process in Libya. The goal is to pave the way for stability in the country. The mission reiterated that the Structured Dialogue is designed to generate clear and actionable recommendations while also establishing mechanisms to ensure these recommendations are implemented effectively. Additionally, the mission is working to translate the comprehensive dialogue into tangible outcomes that will contribute to the organization of credible elections and the unification and strengthening of Libyan institutions, following the established roadmap.
