Tripoli: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, Dr. Ali Al-Maqouri, recently convened a comprehensive meeting with key department directors and officials to discuss the development of the Wafid platform aimed at enhancing the labor market’s efficiency. The meeting brought together representatives from Employment, Labor Inspection, Occupational Safety, Municipal Labor and Rehabilitation Offices, as well as Information Technology, Technical Support, Legal Affairs departments, and the Wafid platform’s technical team.
According to Libyan News Agency, the gathering focused on reviewing the current status of the labor market and discussing updates on the Wafid digital platform. Discussions were centered around the mechanisms of the current system, identifying challenges faced by employment offices, and examining technical observations to improve performance and service quality for citizens.
Participants highlighted the necessity of maintaining adherence to the digital platform and reinforcing collaboration among relevant departments. Emphasis was placed on enhancing technical support and providing immediate solutions to technical challenges, which is expected to streamline procedures, increase work efficiency within employment offices, and promote better organization and transparency in managing labor market data.
