Undersecretary of Audit Bureau and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Discuss Cooperation

Tripoli: The Undersecretary of the Audit Bureau, Attiyat Allah Hussein Abdul Karim, met with Ismail Qurinat, the Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission in the Western Region, to discuss cooperation and coordination between the Bureau and the Commission.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, which took place at the Bureau’s headquarters in the Guest Palaces, focused on various aspects of collaboration related to oversight work. Key topics included strategies for filling the financial statements of the Bureau’s members and employees.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the development of joint working mechanisms on priority files and explored ways to implement these mechanisms. Discussions also emphasized the importance of activating the national strategy to combat corruption, which involves all oversight agencies, and the need to update the national anti-corruption team comprised of members from various oversight bodies.
