UN: The number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip has reached 1.9 million people

Baghdad: The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the number of displaced people in the Strip has reached 1.9 million people. The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, told the UN Security Council: "More than a million people have been displaced again.. and they are desperately searching for shelter and safety." She continued, saying: "Today, there are 1.9 million people displaced throughout Gaza.. I am deeply concerned about reports that new evacuation orders have been issued in the Khan Yunis area."
