New York, The UN Security Council will hold a session next Monday, during which Rosemary DiCarlo, the Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, will present her report on Libya.
The Indian Ambassador “TS Tirumurti” Chairman of the Sanctions Committee imposed on Libya in accordance with Resolution No. 1970, will brief the members of the Council on the activities of the Sanctions Committee.
The session will also vote to extend the mandate of the United Nations Mission in Libya, whose mandate expires at the end of January.
