UN Mission in Libya Urges Immediate Reporting of War Remnants

Tripoli: The UN mission in Libya has issued a stark warning about the dangers of unexploded ordnance, munitions, and mines, which are remnants of the armed conflicts that have plagued the country in recent years.

According to Libyan News Agency, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) highlighted the severe threat these objects pose to civilian lives, particularly those of children. The mission has urged the public to refrain from approaching or touching these dangerous remnants to ensure public safety.

UNSMIL has also underscored the critical need for immediate reporting of any suspicious objects to the designated numbers provided, aiming to mitigate the risks and ensure prompt action to neutralize any threats.
