Tripoli: ‘We support efforts to ensure stability and consensus in Libya,’ U.S. Embassy says. According to Libyan News Agency, this statement was made in a tweet published by Berndt on the Embassy’s account following his meeting with the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, in Tripoli. Berndt highlighted that the meeting addressed recent developments in Libya and international discussions concerning the Libya file at the UN General Assembly.
