Two suspects arrested and their two vehicles used to smuggle oil derivatives seized in Basra

The Energy Police arrested two suspects and seized their two vehicles prepared for smuggling oil derivatives in Basra. The Directorate stated in a statement, "The detachments of the Ninth Energy Police Brigade in Basra Governorate seized two (tank) vehicles prepared for smuggling oil derivatives, and arrested their drivers for tampering with the grading certificate. The statement added, "They were placed in detention and the two vehicles were seized pending the completion of investigations and to present the investigation papers to the competent investigating judge."
