Two Children Freed from Abandoned Building in Tripoli

Tripoli: Two children who had been held captive in an abandoned building in the Al-Asfah area of Tripoli have been successfully freed by the Security Directorates Support Service in the regions. The operation was announced on Friday, marking a significant development in the efforts to ensure safety in the capital.

According to Libyan News Agency, the successful rescue was initiated after the service received information from investigation personnel regarding the presence of the children in the building. The building had previously been sealed off by the service, providing a crucial lead in the operation.

Armed with this information, a special task force from the service was deployed to the location. The team managed to free the children and implemented necessary measures to ensure their safety, as confirmed by the service’s statement.
