Turkish President discusses bilateral relations with Acting Speaker of Parliament and his delegation.

Tripoli, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Ankara on Wednesday the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Fawzi Al-Noweiri and his delegation.

According to the spokesman of the House of Representatives “Abdullah Belheg, the meeting focused on relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen joint cooperation in all araes, for the mutual benefit of the Libyan and Turkish peoples.

The meeting also addressed the Libyan crisis, ending of external interventions in Libyan affairs, ways to achieve security and stability in Libya and the region, as well as a number of files of common interest.

The delegation of the House of Representatives included chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Yusuf Al-Aqouri, chairman of the energy committee Issa Al-Oraibi and members of the House of Representatives Salem Qanan, Badr Al-Nahib, Idris Al-Maghribi and Ziad Deghim. The one-hour meeting, which took place in the Presidential compound, was attended by the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mustafa Shantab and the head of the liaison department of the Turkish presidency, Fakhreddine Alton, and Presidential spokesman Ibrahim Gulen, along with a number of members of the House of Representatives.
