Turkish National Security Council affirms Ankara’s support for the people and government of Lebanon

The Turkish National Security Council affirmed Ankara's support for "the brotherly people of Lebanon and its government in the face of the inhumane Israeli attacks." The Turkish National Security Council condemned in a statement, following its meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last night, Israel's declaration of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as "persona non grata." The Israeli decision against Guterres was described as "the latest example of Israel's disrespect for the laws." The statement also called on international actors to take action to stop Israel's attacks aimed at spreading conflicts in the Middle East. Regarding Anti-terrorism operations, the Turkish National Security Council statement affirmed the continuation of activities aimed at neutralizing terrorist organizations in Syrian territory without interruption.
