Algiers-Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra and his Turkish counterpart Cavusoglu affirmed their agreement to support a Libyan-Libyan solution and the holding of transparent elections that allow the Libyan people to exercise their right to choose their rulers.
This came during a joint press conference held on Saturday, following the first meeting of the “Turkish-Algerian Joint Planning Group” in Algiers.
The Turkish Foreign Minister said in a statement after meeting Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune that they touched on regional issues, including the situation in Libya.
