Tripoli Security Directorate Focuses on Enhancing Readiness for Eid al-Adha Holiday

Tripoli: The Tripoli Security Directorate held an expanded security meeting on Tuesday to discuss raising the level of security readiness and monitoring the work of the directorate’s components to secure the capital during the Eid al-Adha holiday. During the meeting, Tripoli Security Director Major General Khalil Wahba emphasized the necessity for centers to adhere to instructions related to collecting evidence and completing it in accordance with approved legal procedures.

According to Libyan News Agency, Wahba stressed the importance of promptly completing reports, effectively following up on daily reports and crimes, and ensuring quality performance in carrying out their assigned tasks. The attendees discussed security arrangements for securing the city during the Eid holidays, to ensure the protection of citizens, the preservation of public and private property, and the strengthening of security presence in vital locations, markets, and public facilities.
