Tripoli Chamber of Commerce ,Industry, and Agriculture hosts meetings of Commerce and Industry Chambers of the Mediterranean countries

Tripoli – Tripoli Chamber of Commerce ,Industry, and Agriculture will host during May, meetings of the General Secretariat of the Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Mediterranean countries” ASCAME”.

This was done during the meeting of Chairman of the Management Committee of the Chamber, Anwar Abusta, with the Chairman and members of the General Secretariat of the ASCAME, on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Mediterranean “MIDA WEEK”, held in Barcelona, Spain, in the presence of Vice-Chairman of the Management Committee ,Tayeb Al-Salhi ,and a number of members of the Management Committee.

The participants discussed the role of ASCAME in supporting member chamber of commerce, and ways to enhance the role of Tripoli chamber at the regional and international level, and to provide the necessary support to organize the next session, May 2023, in Tripoli, under the supervision of the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Economy and Trade.

The Chamber of Commerce seeks through its hosting of the meetings of the chamber of the Mediterranean to encourage foreign companies and investors to participate and learn about the investment opportunities in Libya, and to establish a partnership with the local private sector in different sectors, and to contribute in implementing infrastructure and investment projects, and to support the national economy in Libya.

It’s noteworthy that the ASCAME includes 230 chambers of commerce from 23 countries bordering the Mediterranean basin.
