Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi met American University of Bahrain (AUB) President Dr. Bradley J. Cook and Royal University for Women (RUW) President Professor Yusra Mouzughi.
The meeting discussed the importance of cooperation between tourism ministry and higher education sectors to promote educational tourism in Bahrain.
The minister stressed the diversity of higher academic programs in Bahrain, nothing the support of educational tourism that provides more study options for students, based on the quality indicator of education and training in the performance of higher education institutions.
Al Sairafi pointed out that exchanging experiences will enhance the growth of educational tourism in the Kingdom.
She noted that higher education institutions in Bahrain are working to develop the international student system, to provide distinguished educational services, and integrate tourism into the educational plans.
