Baghdad: The Iraqi army forces Thursday killed three men suspected of terrorism in Anbar province, western Iraq, according to the Iraqi police.

The Iraqi police said army forces raided the suspect terrorists before they managed to carry out a planned attack in the Hit district of Anbar, killing three, one of whom was wearing an explosive belt.

They noted that the Iraqi security forces announced yesterday that there was a “terrorist group” trying to carry out explosions in the city of Hit.
