Kufra: Three members of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Kufra have been detained in connection with the murder of Musa Abdul Karim Abdullah al-Tabawi. The Public Prosecutor’s Office made this announcement, indicating a significant development in the case.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Kufra Primary Prosecution Office has taken charge of the investigation. The investigator assigned to the case has inspected the crime scene and collected witness testimonies, which will be crucial in the ongoing investigation process.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the investigator has interrogated the three accused individuals, informed them of the charges against them, and ordered their pretrial detention. This decision is pending further investigation, as authorities continue to gather evidence and build the case.
The office had previously announced the filing of a public lawsuit against those responsible for the murder of Musa al-Tabawi and the attempted murder of Muhammad Omar Hassan al-Tabawi in Kufra. The legal proceedings are part of an effort to address the violent incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
