Tripoli- The United Nations Development Program in Libya held a meeting with its partners in Libya to discuss the mechanism for implementing the country program document and its objectives for the next three years.

During the meeting, the UNDP Resident Representative in Libya said that the new country program is an opportunity to spread hope in the development path and prove that positive change is possible.

He confirmed that the document will be submitted for approval during the annual session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Program early next month.

The new country program document for Libya is designed to advance development goals in three areas: democratic governance, sustainable growth, and peacebuilding and resilience at the local level.

The document also outlines the features of the support provided by the Development Program in the country for the next three years, as its cooperation will focus in 30 municipalities.
