The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of a Turkish soldier, who succumbed to injuries he sustained in an attack by Kurdish militants in the middle of this month, in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement today, Friday, that a soldier was seriously injured during a terrorist attack targeting a Turkish army unit in the “Claw Lock” operations area in northern Iraq, and that despite all medical attempts to save him, he died of his wounds.
