The State Council votes to lift the decision to suspend communication with the House of Representatives, and apologizes for responding to the Presidential Council’s invitation to hold a tripartite meeting in the city of Ghadames

Tripoli- The High Council of State voted today, Monday, to lift the decision to suspend communication with the House of Representatives, and that the constitutional rules be miniature, including the chapter on the system of government and transitional provisions.

This came during its (83rd) session, which was held at its headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, under the chairmanship of the President of the Council, “Khaled Al-Mashri.” Its “eighty-third” session was held at its headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, to discuss the latest political developments taking place in the country and the obstacles facing the electoral process that the Libyan people aspire to. As well as the invitation made by the Presidential Council, which aims to hold a tripartite meeting in the city of Ghadames on January 11th.

According to the media office of the High Council of State, the Council welcomed this initiative and thanked the members of the Presidency Council for their efforts in this regard, stressing at the same time that the constitutional rule file is a common matter between the High Council of State and the House of Representatives, and that reaching a consensus between them is close in this regard. Accordingly, it is not possible to participate in the aforementioned meeting.
