The reality and challenges of women’s work in the public and governmental sphere is the focus of Al-Mangoush’s meeting with a number of Libyan women working in different fields.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Naglaa Al-Mangoush,” organized a meeting with a number of Libyan women who work in various fields in education, health, the business sector, and the media, in addition to scouts, the Red Crescent, and civil society. They are known for their hard work and interest in community service.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its Facebook page today, Thursday, that the meeting came on the sidelines of a Ramadan Iftar called by “Al-Mangoush” in the city of Tripoli, where the attendees discussed the reality and challenges of women’s work in the public and governmental sphere, and the importance of intensifying the efforts of all segments of society for a future in which there is equal and fair opportunities for all. The ladies present also shared their experiences and the challenges facing Libyan women.

The attendees stressed the importance of raising awareness of the role of women in society, and the need for all its members to move towards stability and progress at all levels.
