The Qatari Foreign Minister Renews Qatar’s Support For The Political Process In Libya And Its Rejection Of Foreign Interference In The Libyan Affairs.

Tripoli, The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh “Mohammed bin Nasser Al Thani” renewed Qatar’s support for the political process in Libya and its rejection of foreign interference in the Libyan affairs in a way that would lead to the preservation of Libya’s unity, security and stability.

The Qatari foreign minister said at the joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Almanqoush, held today in Tripoli, “The State of Qatar renews its firm supportive stance towards the Libyan people. We carry a message of friendship, affection and brotherhood from the Emir of the country and the Qatari people to the Presidential Council, the government and the Libyan people, and we affirm our absolute support for the process. In the press conference, the foreign minister stated that he had held important discussions with the head of the national unity government, Abdel Hamid Al-Dbaiba, which dealt with bilateral relations and means of cooperation in all fields, indicating that it was agreed to form working groups to assess and follow up areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

Sheikh Muhammad bin Nasser Al Thani expressed hope that such meetings would be repeated with the Presidential Council, the Presidency of the Government and all levels to expand and develop areas of cooperation in a way that achieves the common interest.
