The Prime Minister is following up on the epidemiological situation in the country.

Tripoli, Prime Minister Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba met today, Saturday, with the Director of the National Center for Disease Control, Dr. Haider al-Sayeh, members of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Center, the Director of the Emergency Department at the Ministry of Health, and the Chairman of the Medical Supply System Management Committee.

The media office of the Prime Minister said that the meeting reviewed the epidemiological situation of the Corona pandemic in the regions of the country.

He added that “Al-Dabaiba” followed up during the meeting the measures taken by the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Disease Control, and stressed the need to launch a large-scale vaccination campaign, especially after the availability of the necessary quantities of vaccines.

For his part, the Director of the National Center for Disease Control confirmed that there is a shortage of drivers for conducting virus detection analyzes, adding that the rewards due to workers in isolation centers have not been paid, and he demanded the issuance of a decision from the Council of Ministers regarding a set of precautionary measures that must be followed.

The office indicated that “Al-Dabaiba” issued instructions to take a number of practical measures to provide for the shortcomings and work to disburse the rewards to those who deserve it after verifying the names of the beneficiaries.
