The presidential legal frameworks committee is looking into the development of legal texts for the national reconciliation project.

Tripoli, The Committee on Legal Frameworks in the Presidential Council devoted its meeting today, Wednesday, to discussing the development of the provisions of the National Reconciliation Law, which achieves harmony and comprehensive reconciliation.

During the meeting, which was held at the council’s office in the capital, Tripoli, headed by the Vice-President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, and in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Halima Al-Boussifi, and a number of specialists in the legal field, it was stressed the need to work, in addition to the side of the legal framework, on the social, religious, and media aspects. For its active role in achieving reconciliation, and a fundamental pillar to ensure the success of the national reconciliation project.

According to the Presidential Media Office, Professor of Law at Libyan Universities, Ibrahim Abu Khuzam, stressed, through the video application, the importance of the national reconciliation project, and considered it the cornerstone to ensure the success of the political process in Libya.

The participants in the meeting demanded the necessity of holding a general national conference for reconciliation, under the auspices of the Presidential Council, which is the owner of the national reconciliation project, which establishes a stable state.
