The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced the seizure of stolen goods belonging to the General Electricity Company and the Man-made River System inside a scrap shop in Al-Wahat, and legal measures were taken regarding the incident and the accused were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry stated in a statement that the branch of the General Directorate of the Wahat Electric Police seized a scrap shop that buys and sells materials belonging to the General Electricity Company represented in high-pressure towers, as well as iron covers for water tanks belonging to the Man-Made River system.
The Ministry of Interior said that this comes based on the instructions of the Director of the General Department of the Electric Police regarding following up on scrap shops that sell and buy equipment and materials for the General Electricity Company, conducting periodic inspection tours of them, and apprehending violators.
