The Libyan Ambassador to Sudan, “Fawzi Abu Meriz,” reassured the Minister of Higher Education in the Government of National Unity, “Omran Al-Qayeb,” on the conditions of the Libyan delegates in Sudanese universities, stressing that the conditions are still under control and do not require the transfer of Libyan students to any other study arena, according to the ministry’s Facebook page.

This came during the phone call made by “Al-Qayeb” with Ambassador “Abu Meriz” to see the latest developments in the Sudanese academic arena and to follow up on the situation of Libyan students who are delegated to Sudanese universities following the events taking place in Sudan.

Al-Qayeb stressed during the call the need to open channels of communication between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Libyan mission in Sudan, in anticipation of any emergency.

For his part, “Abu Meriz” assured the minister of the safety of the embassy from any damage.
