The Ministry of Culture mourns the historian Bahnam Salim Hababa

Baghdad, The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, and the Ministry's staff and employees mourned the historian, educator and great Mosul deacon Bahnam Salim Hababa. The Ministry said in a statement: "The deceased passed away today at the age of 97 in Erbil, leaving behind a long history of giving and creativity in writing, documentation, history and literature, expressing his "regret for the passing of the creative Hababa." It added: "Habbaba was an example of a true cultured man and a voracious reader, well-mannered and a lover of science and books, as he was one of the writers and contributors to supporting Iraqi newspapers and libraries with his writings and articles, in addition to his great literary contributions to the University of Mosul."
