Tripoli, In a meeting held with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, the Minister of Local Government, Badr El-Din Al-Toumi discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of local government and local administration and the implementation of development projects in a number of municipalities.
The meeting dealt with the initiative to develop the capacities of central and local authority in municipalities and improve services for citizens in municipalities, which was launched by the Ministry to develop 24 municipalities in partnership with the Italian National Association of Municipalities (ANCI), through which the capabilities of the central and local authority in municipalities are developed and a number of service and development projects are implemented in the service of citizens.
