The Libyan National Security Adviser discusses with his Russian counterpart national security issues of concern to both countries.

Libyan National Security Adviser “Ibrahim Bushnaf” discussed this morning, Thursday, with his Russian counterpart, “Nikolai Petrushev,” bilateral relations and various national security issues of concern to the two countries.

The meeting – which was held on the sidelines of the participation of “Bushnaf” and his accompanying delegation in the work of the eleventh session of the International Security Forum held in the Russian capital, Moscow – discussed the current situation in the region, on top of which is the Libyan crisis and the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of the National Security Council of the Russian Federation, “Nikolai Petrushev,” gave his Libyan counterpart souvenirs that reflect the depth of the relationship between the two friendly countries, according to what the Libyan National Security Council published on its official Facebook page.

More than 100 countries, including Libya, are participating in the work of the eleventh session of the International Security Forum, which started on Wednesday in the capital, Moscow. The participants will discuss a number of security issues.
