The members of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) briefed the Supreme Commander, President of the Presidential Council, “Muhammad Al-Manfi” on the details of their recent meetings in Tripoli and Benghazi.

During the meeting, which was held in Tripoli, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Defense, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabiba” and the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General “Mohammed al-Haddad”, the committee stressed the importance of coordination, consultation and support on the part of the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army.

The attendees listened to the remarks of the President and Vice-Chairman of the Council regarding the recent military meetings, and provided answers to the Supreme Commander’s questions regarding developments in the committee’s work and ways to support it.

The meeting discussed developments in the military situation in general throughout the country, and the Chief of Staff reviewed the latest developments in the course of unifying the military institution.
