The Holy Abbasi Shrine announces the success of its service and health plans for the Day of Arafat and the days of Eid al-Adha

The Holy Abbasi Shrine announced the success of its security, service and health plan for visiting the Day of Arafat and Eid al-Adha.

Jawad Al-Hasnawi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, said that all departments of the Holy Shrine mobilized their efforts during the days of visiting Arafa and Eid Al-Adha and provided a set of services to visitors coming from inside and outside Iraq to perform the visitation ceremonies.

He added that inside the Holy Shrine, the Shrine Care Department, the Holy Mosque Division, and the Servants Division supervised the provision of thousands of Qur’ans, visitation books, and organized the movement of visitors inside the Holy Shrine, while the staff of the Department between the Two Holy Mosques and the supporting departments supervised the organization of the movement of visitors outside the Holy Shrine, as well as providing many other services.

He explained that the Host Department provided hundreds of thousands of meals to visitors arriving to the Holy
City of Karbala, through its outlets located inside and outside the city center, and the Religious Affairs Department worked to organize a group of special items and activities for the Day of Arafat, including intellectual lectures presented to visitors in the Holy Shrine and referendum stations of legitimacy of answering visitors’ questions.

At the level of health services, Al-Hasnawi said that the Medical Affairs Department and Al-Kafeel Center for Health and Safety have provided health services to thousands of visitors over the past days, and their staff has been on full alert on the days of visiting and Eid Al-Adha.
