The marine enlightenment cadres in the General Company for Ports of Iraq rehabilitated a number of marine indication buoys in Khor Al-Zubair channel, and replaced the lamps of a number of buoys with new ones with high-quality specifications.

The Director of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Eng. Farhan Al-Fartousi, said: The company’s personnel are working according to timetables to maintain and rehabilitate marine marker buoys in all navigational channels in order to facilitate the safe sailing process for ships and oil tankers coming and leaving the ports.
For his part, the senior high seas skipper, Ramzi Isha Dawood, director of the Maritime Control and Guidance Department, explained, “The staff of the Maritime Enlightenment Division has maintained the lighting of a number of marine buoys in Khor Al-Zubair channel and the rest of the other navigational channels, and replaced the lighting devices in them.
