The arrival of a plane, carrying Libyans who were evacuated from Sudan, to Maitiga airport.

The Afriqiyah Airways plane arrived at Maitiga Airport in the capital, Tripoli, this Tuesday evening, coming from the Saudi city of Jeddah, carrying on board 105 members of the Libyan community who were evacuated from Sudan.

Yesterday, Monday, the Libyan embassy in Khartoum announced the evacuation of (105) Libyan citizens from the diplomatic mission staff and their families, Libyan students, and employees of Libyan institutions operating in Sudan, via a ship from the port of Port Sudan to the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to be transported by air to the homeland on board the Libyan plane.
