Tetteh Meets Saudi Arabia’s Charge d’Affaires to Discuss Libyan Truce

Tripoli: Tetteh holds a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of Saudi Arabia. The UN and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the necessity to sustain the truce in Tripoli and the need to advance an inclusive political process aimed at facilitating national elections in Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, this clarification came during a meeting held by the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Libya, Hanna Tetteh, with the Charge d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Libya, Ahmed El Shehri. The UNSMIL stated on its Facebook page that the meeting focused on the latest developments in the capital and throughout Libya, along with the ongoing consultations concerning the outcomes of the Advisory Committee.
