Tripoli: The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Hanna Tetteh, engaged with the High Council of State’s Evaluation and Study Committee to deliberate on specific aspects of the roadmap aimed at resolving Libya’s political crisis.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the second segment of the roadmap discussed with the Security Council on August 21, emphasizing structured dialogue and government-related issues. The committee members received insights into the mission’s perspective on these matters and were briefed on concerns surrounding the implementation process, as well as potential guarantees to enhance the success of this initiative.
This meeting is part of the committee’s ongoing efforts, as it finalizes the first part of its report concerning the commission and electoral framework. The finalized report is set to be submitted to the Presidency Office for presentation in the upcoming Council session, as reported by the media office.
